In honor of National American Heart Month, REMSA and Scheels will be presenting the 5th annual Save A Heart and Simple 7 Health Expo! This year we will continue to offer free CPR classes to the community as well as heart healthy education opportunities and health checks. We will also be adding an opportunity for vendors to present clinics and demonstrations on heart healthily living to participants.
CPR Awareness classes are free and will be available at 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm in the Scheels Training Rooms (2nd floor, east side, by Archery). The classes are limited to a first come, first serve basis. For more information on class details, please call REMSA at 775-858-5700.
Visit with different non-profits and businesses from our community that can give you information on a healthier way to live. The Simple 7 Health Expo will feature free blood pressure checks, hydration level checks, the Calorie Guessing Game, the Love your Lungs Obstacle Course, and MORE! Visit multiple vendors between 10:00am - 2:00pm, and you'll receive a prize!
The Child Safety Seat Check Point will take place in the parking lot, by the marina. It will start at 10:00am, and they will check the first 30 cars.
